Take Flight - Flipbook - Page 8
1. Book It
Once Cardholders have been introduced to their dedicated team, future
discussions are focused on specific flights and how to make each one
better moving forward.
Since Cardholder universal preferences are recorded during activation,
Sentient clients do not need to answer the same questions time and again
when booking flights. That makes the booking step a smoother, simpler
process. To make the process even easier, Sentient developed an online
portal so Cardholders can update their preferences anytime.
When a flight is booked, the Client Manager discusses and records details
such as time of day the Cardholder wants to fly, how many people will be
flying, the amount of luggage, ground transportation, special assistance
boarding the plane, if there’s a preferred FBO for take-off and arrival and
more. The ability to access airports that airlines don’t serve is the second
most important reason why people choose to fly privately4
(see graph on page 6).
“My wife has a new hip and needs assistance getting on the plane,” says
Bill Wren, private jet flyer. “We also bring our two dogs with us when we
fly, so we have some special needs that have to be considered every time
we book a flight.”
Sentient has learned there are no details too small or insignificant; in fact,
they often are what make the experience extraordinary.
