Women’s health goes online
New parents find help at home
In February 2021, SVHC hosted four informational
webinars designed to help women throughout the
region improve their physical, emotional, and social
wellbeing. Led by SVHC medical staff, the free
webinars featured a presentation and a Q&A session.
Featured topics included sexual health, social health,
opioid safety, and opioid recovery.
In an effort to help new parents and parents-tobe access information they need while observing
COVID protocols, SVHC transitioned their new
parent classes to an online format. Ranging
from two to three hours and hosted by SVHC
RNs, classes covered Hospital to Home, Childbirth
Education, and Breastfeeding for New Parents.
