Acting on insights gained
In response to the CHNA information, SVHC
initiated several efforts. These include:
★ Healthy+ magazine: a free community
health magazine that speaks to health
needs and connects readers with available
resources and services.
★ Enhanced Mental Health Services
for Children: SVHC is working to
ensure that the services, resources,
and settings children and families
need to deal with mental health
crises are available.
★Advanced Harm-Reduction Training:
SVHC is working to prevent overdose
fatalities in the community
by providing CPR and Narcan
administration training to individuals
connected with others struggling with
substance use disorder.
