cooking demonstrations for the Willow Bend diabetes
group, where she discusses recipes and ingredient
modifications residents can use to clean up their

LWB Director of Wellness Lorelei Piñeda has designed
a well-rounded exercise program suited for all fitness
tastes that includes upper and lower body conditioning,
strength training, and cardio workouts. Residents and
staff can choose from a dynamic mix of group classes,
such as water aerobics, yoga, boxing, meditation, and
Pilates. And for those who love cutting a rug, there’s
rhythmic cardio drumming, line dancing, and Zumba. To
keep staff members in top form, Piñeda holds monthly
competitions, doling out prizes for those who’ve
accumulated the most steps or achieved the highest
level of activity for that period.
The Legacy at Home achieved Home Elite Care Status, an honor given to the top
25 percent of home health companies nationally.
The Legacy at Home achieved a four-star Medicare rating and a deficiency-free
state survey.
The Legacy at Home hospice achieved ACHC (Accreditation Commission for Healthcare)
national accreditation and NIJH (National Institute for Jewish Hospice) accreditation.
