DAY 10 6
God Is Faithful
O Lord, how long will you forget me? Forever? How long will you look
the other way? How long must I struggle with anguish in my soul,
with sorrow in my heart every day? How long will my enemy have the
upper hand? PSALM 13:1-2
Love Letter from God
Beloved Daughter,
I will never forget you, but there will be times when you will feel like I have.
When that happens, remember the many times I’ve proved My faithfulness
to you in the past. When you find yourself doubting Me, reflect on your walk
with Me.
Remember the times when you thought there was no way out, and I made
a way of escape for you. Remember the times when you were in need, and
I provided. Remember the times when you fell, and I reached down with My
Spirit and gave you the strength to get back up again. Remember the nights
when you needed comfort, and My presence covered you. Remember when
you needed protection, and I sent My angels to surround you. Most importantly, go back to the days before you knew Me: Reflect on that life-changing
encounter we had together, as your heart was knit together with Mine and
you became My beloved, redeemed daughter.
Love,
Your heavenly Father
Reflection
There is something significant about memories. We tend to shy away from
the painful ones, but those tough times are often when we see God working
the most. When we reflect on those memories, we see how God has always
delivered. We don’t have to doubt His amazing love for us. He will never forget us or leave us.
Treasure of Truth
If we feel that God is far away, it’s because we’ve forgotten how close He
actually is.
