there is safety in having many advisers.

There’s danger in putting up security for
a stranger’s debt;
it’s safer not to guarantee another
person’s debt.

but ruthless men gain only wealth.

10:25 When we are encountering difficulties in life, it is a real challenge to be content to weather the
storm and to learn what God is teaching us through it. For people of faith, such trials are an opportunity
for personal growth (see 24:10).
11:1-3 These proverbs underscore the importance of being honest. We need to be honest—with ourselves
and with others. We need to honestly admit our sins when we see them. We need to be honest as we reflect
on the condition of our spiritual lives in light of God’s Word.
