11:24-25 One of the things we can give away is encouragement. When we share our victories, and even

renewal with others, they will gain insights and encouragement.
12:15 Changing sinful patterns of behavior may require the help of people we trust and respect (see
12:26; 15:22; 19:20). We cannot live life successfully all by ourselves. Growing toward spiritual and
emotional maturity is a process that requires the help of trustworthy people who can guide us with care
and hold us accountable as we try to make changes.
12:16 It is foolish for us to lose our temper when we are insulted. We demonstrate maturity by staying
self-controlled and expressing our anger without sinning.
