• J E R E MI A H 1 7 :7 | “But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord
their hope and confidence.”
Trusting in the Lord brings great blessing and eternal rewards.
• PSA L M 1 7 :6 | I am praying to you because I know you will answer, O God. Bend down and
listen as I pray.
God answers prayer.
• PSA L M 1 6 :8 | I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right
beside me.
God is always with you.
• PSA L M 1 3 5 :5 | I know the greatness of the Lord—that our Lord is greater than any other god.
• J O B 4 2 :2 | “I know that you can do anything, and no one can stop you.”
No one is greater than God. He is sovereign and all-powerful.
Why is it important to have godly convictions?
• R O MA NS 1 4 :2 3 | But if you have doubts about whether or not you should eat something,
you are sinning if you go ahead and do it. For you are not following your convictions. If you
do anything you believe is not right, you are sinning.
Convictions can keep you from sinning.

Convictions bring wisdom as a reward.

How do I live out my convictions?
• PSA L M 1 1 9 :7 | As I learn your righteous regulations, I will thank you by living as I should!
• J O H N 1 5 :1 0 | When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey
my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.
You live out your convictions by making daily decisions to obey God’s Word, the standard
for your convictions.
