While it is important to share your faith with non-Christians, it is important
that you do not allow their lifestyle to influence you. Jude, in speaking of how
to reach these people, wrote, “Rescue others by snatching them from the flames
of judgment. Show mercy to still others, but do so with great caution, hating the
sins that contaminate their lives” (Jude 1:23).
Reach out in God’s love to your old friends, but also look for new friends who
share your love for the Lord and will encourage you in your faith.
