Management Essentials
The Management Essentials Program was designed to create and increase capabilities for new USC managers,
so they can be ready for current and future opportunities to meet the strategic and operational objectives. The
course objective is to foster and promote an environment of continuous learning at USC and recognizing the
many ways we learn. As a result of this program, employees will be able to:
• Obtain proficiency in coaching and communication skills.
• Demonstrate how to address their administrative tasks or access key USC information.
Enrollment Information
All new employee, with supervisor responsibilities, will be automatically registered for Management Essentials
based on their role and provided a registration confirmation shortly after their first day.
