Rainbow Springs Artist Co-Op
Submitted by Walt McLellan
Pictured is phase I of our plan to improve the
landscape of the Rainbow Springs Artist Co-Op.
The river rock was donated by Dunnellon Mulch &
Stone owner Mike Prinz. If you happen to be over to
Dunnellon Mulch & Stone, be sure and thank Mike
Prinz personally.
The volunteer list involved Donna and Joe
Josephson, Cindy McWilliams, Josh Price, June and
Tom Johnson and Walt McLellan.
Phase I involved the entrance to the co-op. Phase
II will landscape the north side.
We do not have a budget for the landscaping so if
you are interested in improving the appearance of the
exterior of the co-op we accept donations. Just call
352-445-8547.
We also want to thank the guidance and expertise
of the Rainbow Springs Garden Club.
Photographer was Cindy McWilliams.

DO YOU HAVE A DRYER?
IS IT ON THE INTERIOR WALL OF YOUR HOME?
If so, chances are it exhausts into a vent pipe that runs inside the wall all
the way UP to and through your roof or DOWN under the floor.
PREVENT THIS IN YOUR HOME!
If not properly maintained this pipe can retain lots of flammable lint,
causing your dryer to use more electricity by taking longer than it should
to dry clothes, shorten the life of the dryer AND create a tremendous fire
hazard.
We all clean our dryer’s lint trap with each load but THAT'S NOT ENOUGH!
The National Fire Protection Agency www.nfpa.org and the Department of
Homeland Security www.usfa.dhs.gov both recommend that your dryer’s
vent pipe be cleaned at least once per year, or even more if you notice
clothes taking longer to dry or your dryer becoming warmer during cycles.
This is one risk you can DO SOMETHING ABOUT in a painless,
inexpensive way. Not to mention added benefits of saving electric $$ and
appliance life!!
SPEAKING OF RISK: Make sure that any company you hire is FULLY
INSURED, including both Worker’s Compensation AND General Liability
Insurance. It’s important – ASK FOR PROOF. Even if the company you hire
is not REQUIRED to carry Workers’ Compensation Insurance, if a worker
gets hurt while on your property (or your roof), you want to be sure the
company carries Workers’ Compensation so you are not held responsible. If
your property (i.e. your dryer vent pipe) were to be damaged in the cleaning
process you would want to know the company you hired has general liability
insurance to make the repair. For 25 years Will Construction has been FULLY
INSURED including Workers’ Compensation AND General Liability
Insurances. DON’T TRADE ONE RISK FOR ANOTHER-CALL WILL
CONSTRUCTION for peace of mind.
