Yet another organization and group of Dunnellon Strong kids are helping to
make the Dunnellon Community Garden a reality.
“Art in the Garden is a program sponsored by a grant to the Rainbow Springs
Artist Cooperative from the State of Florida Department of Cultural Affairs,” said
Cindy McWilliams of the Dunnellon Art Cooperative, coordinator for this effort
and a Community Garden volunteer.

Art takes shape as one of the first group of
budding artists from the Boys & Girls Club
paints a bunny on one of the border blocks for the
Dunnellon Community Garden, a joint project of
the Suwannee St. Johns Sierra Club, Tri-County
Working Group & the Boys and Girls Club of
Marion County. The project is part of a grant to the
Rainbow Springs Artist Cooperative from the State
of Florida Department of Cultural Affairs. Project
Coordinator for the artwork is Cindy Williams, an
art teacher at the Coop and a DCG volunteer.
