AQHA RANCHING
HERITAGE CHALLENGE
The American Quarter Horse Association is committed to the promotion
of the ranch horse. The association has created programs to help ranchers market their ranch-bred American Quarter Horses and opportunities
for their ranch-bred horses to be showcased in competition. The horses
in this sale who are enrolled or eligible for the program are identified on
their stall sign and in the horse’s notes. For more information about the
program, visit the AQHA staff at their on-site
registration booth during the sale.

ZOETIS RANCHING
HERITAGE CHALLENGE
Ranching Heritage Breeders are
AQHA member-owned ranches and
individuals who represent longevity,
honesty and integrity in raising
quality American Quarter Horses &

An exclusive opportunity for Ranching
Heritage bred-horses, the Zoetis

to showcase ranch-bred
American Quarter horses.
Ranching Heritage Breeders must
breed and register at least five

year and must maintain a remuda

when horses are purchased from
a Ranching Heritage Breeder, that
great tradition continues.
The Challenges offer multiple divisions
for various ages & skill levels for both
horse & rider. Classes include working
ranch horse, ranch riding,

To be eligible, horses must have been
bred by a Ranching Heritage Breeder,
plus all payments - weanling, yearling,
2-year-old, and 3-year-old - must be
complete in order to compete. Those
payments also contribute to the purse
for Ranching Heritage Challenge events.
