Strive Capital
Campaign
The Center launched the Strive Capital
Campaign to build a new campus in
Houston’s vibrant East End community.
The campus will be partially funded
through the sale of The Center’s
existing property on West Dallas
and the remaining funds are being
raised through a $16.5 million capital
campaign.
Pedestrian-oriented, the new site is
located on a light rail stop that will
offer low-cost, wheelchair-accessible
public transportation to downtown
Houston, the Texas Medical Center,
and employment hubs. In early 2020,
some 125 people gathered for
The Center for Pursuit’s official
groundbreaking. Elected officials
including Mayor Turner, board
members, community leaders, and
other stakeholders came together
to move some dirt to ceremoniously
signify the beginning of a new era.
