ENSURING
REMEMBRANCE
The Holocaust was
a time of terrible
atrocities, and we
were personally
affected. Our lives were changed
forever by the legacy of hate from
the time period in which we lived.
Samuel’s mother and two brothers
perished at the hands of the Nazis.
Those who did not perish—and the
generations that followed from those
survivors—carry the scars with them
to this day. The ability to watch
our children and grandchildren
live in a world in which they are
free to openly practice Judaism
has truly been our greatest gift.

Without thorough education
covering the Holocaust and events
leading up to it, it is possible that
it could be forgotten, or the truth
misrepresented in the future.
With this gift, our hope is that the
suffering and devastation that were
visited on our families and countless
others is never forgotten. We hope
to ensure that a Holocaust never
happens again. If everyone speaks
out, it will make a difference.”
