My parents were Holocaust
survivors. My father
survived the perils of
Auschwitz, Gross-Rosen, and
Buchenwald, and my mother was
in a safe home under the auspices
of Rabbi Jonah Tiefenbrunner in
Belgium. We never spoke about
the war and what they endured.
As a second-generation survivor,
my mission, with the help of
the United States Holocaust
Memorial Museum, is to pass down
knowledge of the atrocities to
future generations. As Jews navigate
in this modern world, we need to
know that antisemitism does, in
fact, still exist. My donation to the
Museum will continue to keep my
family legacy alive and will help the
Museum to continue its mission to
educate the world.”
