to recognize the importance of being able
to accurately gauge my own abilities, and
not take on more than I can handle both
in my academics and extracurriculars. In
this vein, I advise future candidates to pick
subjects that interest them and keep them
engaged, but also ones that are well within
their skill levels, as the stress compounds
very quickly throughout the DP. While the

“As I look back on
my life at VIS, I see
how transformative
this experience has
been. I came to Vienna and VIS when I
was four years old and stayed until I was
eighteen. I graduated in May 2024. Growing up in a multicultural environment with
over 100 different nationalities and 80 languages had a profound influence on me.
It is essential to who I am now. I gained
knowledge and made lasting relationships
that I cherish.
The Diploma Programme proved to be
demanding but extremely productive and
fruitful. It motivated me to accomplish
more than I have ever imagined I was able
to. I would advise future Diploma Programme students to embrace and learn
from every challenge, and never be afraid
to ask for support from their classmates,
friends, and teachers. I experienced firsthand how VIS students grow academically and personally in ways they could have
never predicted. In a nutshell: value your
VIS relationships, thank your mentors,
and make the most of every opportunity
that comes your way.
Receiving the Award for International
Understanding at my graduation ceremony was a memorable moment. It was
the apogee of my incredible journey in
VIS. I would like to thank all my teachers
wholeheartedly for their support and continuous guidance, as this recognition will
