HOMEOWNER’S LIMITED WARRANTY
W.B. Homes, Inc. will correct any item in your new home that does not meet the
standards specifically described in this document.
This Warranty is broken into three (3) specific areas of coverage for your satisfaction
and convenience as follows:
YEAR #1:
All items listed as “Builder’s Responsibility” in this document are
covered during Year #1.
YEAR #2:
Only those items listed in the “MECHANICAL SYSTEMS” section,
and the “MAJOR STRUCTURAL DEFECTS” section as “Builder’s
Responsibility” are covered in Year #2. Mechanical systems
include:
• Plumbing
• On-Lot Wells (if applicable)
• On-Lot Septic Systems (if applicable)
• HVAC
• Electrical
• Fire Suppression Systems (if applicable)
YEARS #3
THROUGH
#10:
Only those items listed in the “MAJOR STRUCTURAL DEFECTS”
section as “Builder’s Responsibility” are covered during Years #3
through #10. Major Structural Defects include:
a.) Foundation systems and footings
b.) Beams
c.) Girders
d.) Lintels
e.) Load Bearing Columns
f.) Load Bearing Walls and Partitions
g.) Floor Systems
h.) Roof framing systems and trusses
Please refer to this entire document for the specifics as to exactly what is and isn’t
covered. In addition to the limited warranty provided by W.B. Homes, Inc.,
many of our manufacturers provide additional warranty periods above and
beyond what is covered by this warranty. At your Pre-Settlement Inspection, we
will provide to you the manufacturer’s paperwork necessary to register specific
items with the manufacturers in order to be eligible for their warranties. It is
extremely important that you take the time to fill out all the manufacturers’ forms
and send them in, in order to be eligible for their warranty.
Please remember that your lot and the home on your lot are both going to require
regular maintenance by you in order to keep the looking good, functioning
