properly, and to achieve the maximum life expectancy of all the components. If
you do not perform that regular maintenance, warranty coverage may be
excluded and/or may not apply. For example, the exterior of your home typically
has caulk to fill in small gaps between different types of materials. That caulk
needs to be visually inspected (at least once per year) and maintained regularly
(at least every three years) in order to avoid the potential for water intrusion into
your home. To the extent that the exterior of your home has been painted, that
paint must also be maintained regularly in order to avoid the degradation of any
painted exterior materials. If you have any questions concerning any of these
maintenance responsibilities, please contact us.
W.B. Homes suggests you wait until the items on your Final List have been
serviced before changing any part of the structure or aesthetics of your home. If a
warranty repair is requested to an area that you have changed or altered, you will
be solely responsible for the repair, as it will not be covered by this warranty.
W.B. Homes will not be responsible for any repairs where alterations have been
made to the home or lot after settlement. Any alteration(s) to the original home
and/or lot may void certain parts of the warranty, if, in the sole judgment of W.B.
Homes, Inc., the alteration done after Settlement by you is the cause of any such
repair.
NOTE:
1.) Your Limited Warranty starts on the day of settlement.
2.) THIS WARRANTY IS NOT TRANSFERABLE.
