Shrinkage of insert panels shows raw wood edges.
Performance Standard:
Panels will shrink and expand and may expose unpainted surface.
Responsibility:

Possible Deficiency:
Split in door panel.
Performance Standard:
Split panels should not allow light to be visible through the door.
Responsibility:
If light is visible, Builder will fill split and match paint or stain as closely as possible one time in the
1st Year Warranty Period. Builder is not responsible to make repairs to items damaged by water
intrusion caused by split door panels.
Hardware, Fixtures & Brass Hardware
Possible Deficiency:
Tarnished, pitted, stained or rusted hardware, fixtures and brass hardware.
Performance Standard:
Doorknobs, kickplates, fixtures, screws, etc. will tarnish and can pit, stain or rust. This is especially
true for any brass on the exterior of the house because acid rain and weather conditions cause the
erosion of brass fixtures and hardware. Builder will not replace any hardware, fixtures or brass
hardware due to uncontrollable natural processes or by the application of cleaning agents by the
Homeowner.

Glass

Broken or scratched glass.
Performance Standard:
None.
Responsibility:
Broken or scratched glass not reported prior to Settlement is the Homeowner's responsibility
