party style atmosphere complete with Latin food, music, and vendors, before heading inside the
Esperanza Arts Center for performances by Argentianian pianist Emiliano Messiez and his quartet,
and performances, plus dance lessons with members of the Philadelphia Argentine Tango School.

Independence National Historical Park | 5th & Market Streets
The Philly POPS return to Independence National Historical Park in their 43-year tradition with
POPS on Independence. Music Director David Charles Abell conducts the Philly POPS trademark
celebration with a full orchestra. This year’s concert is presented with a soulful twist featuring
frequent collaborator and Broadway star Ryan Shaw. Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair
or blanket. Beginning at 5 PM, on 5th Street outside The Bourse Food Hall, guests are invited for
entertainment, food, and fun before the start of the show.
