ANDREW USHER
OLD VATTED GLENLIVET CIRCA 1930s
Usher’s Old Vatted Glenlivet can be described as
the original, and one of the most successful, blended
Scotch whiskies. Andrew and John Usher are
considered the industry fathers of whisky blending.
The recipe is said to include a vast bulk of grain
whisky from Caledonian distillery as well as some
single malt from Smith’s Glenlivet, Royal Brackla
and The Edinburgh Distillery (previously named
Glen Sciennes).
