Finding Hope Through Loss
A letter from BellaÕs Mom:
Bella is a 13 year old little girl who has always struggled. Her dad left at an
early age and her heart has always ached. She was angry and sad. We had
tried everything. I was at loss on what to do next. A preachers wife asked
me if I had ever heard of Whispering Angels Youth Ranch. After reaching
out to the ranch and taking our tour, Bella and prayed over her attending
the ranch. We quickly knew that this place was sent by God for our family.
Bella started back in June with a wonderful mentor. She since has joined
the Jr. Wranglers program and gets to go to the ranch a few times a week.
Bella has always just barely made it in school. This year she set goals and
now is on the A & B honor role. She is no longer getting in trouble at
school and she smiles again! The changes that she has made since she
started here is a total 360. She says, ÒMy heart has not been this happy
since my dad left.Ó It truly is a wonderful Godly place thatÕs changes lives. I
canÕt thank everyone enough at the ranch for pouring into Bella week after
week.
As the years go on, we are
fortunate to receive testimony
stories about our former
participants success in the
program. This is a letter that we
received this year.
Dear Marie,
It has been on my heart for a
while. I wanted you to know
that the encouragement and
support you and the angels
gave Lillian worked wonders.
She is happy most of the time,
healthy, managing well and
showing great effort in her
studies. She even worked up
the nerve to join the chorus,
which is something she would
have never had the courage to
do before your program.
Remember the little cowering
girl in the ßoor of the car the
Þrst visit? Attached is a recent
photo. She is a typical 8th
grader with all the sass and
tears that go with it. Thank you
to you and the angels!
