Mr. & Mrs. Nachum Futersak
Guests of Honor
Our friendship with the Futersak family spans over three decades.
Reb Nachum learned in ארץ ישראלas a young bachur and developed a close
kesher with the Rosh HaYeshiva HaGaon HaRav Zvi Twersky שליט"אwho was
an אברךat the time. Reb Nachum later became a בן ביתat the Twersky family
home and developed a close קשרwith Maran HaGaon HaRav Chaim Kreiswirth
זצ"לand the Rosh HaYeshiva HaGaon HaRav Dov Kreiswirth זצ"ל.
Reb Nachum kept up his relationship with the Twersky and Kreiswirth families
even after he returned to חו"ל, married his אשת חילHenny (nee Jacobowitz),
and began raising a beautiful משפחה. His care and compassion for the Rosh
HaYeshiva זצ"לnever let up. He was always there for him, displaying a
tremendous מידהof שימוש תלמידי חכמים. He took this to an entirely different
level throughout the Rosh HaYeshiva 'זצ"לs illness. Reb Nachum was זוכהto be
at his bedside at the time of his יציאת נשמה.
Reb Nachum and Henny sent their two oldest sons, Pesach נ"יand Yaakov נ"י,
to learn in Yeshiva, continuing the קשרbetween the Futersak, Jacobowitz,
Kreiswirth, and Twersky families. Pesach is now married and learning in Kollel
in Yerushalayim and Yaakov is currently in the kibutz in Yeshiva. They are both
בע"הoutstanding בני עליהfollowing in the footsteps of their parents.
Reb Nachum and Henny are role models of care, compassion and אהבת ישראל.
Their מעשים טוביםand חסדיםare done with tremendous sensitivity, ישרות, and
sincerity.
The Futersak's support and dedication to the Yeshiva has been extraordinary
throughout our seven years. Whenever there is a need for the Yeshiva or
individuals, we know we can turn to the Futeraks and they will be there for us.
We wish them health and strength to continue all the tremendous חסדthat
they do, and may they continue to enjoy the נחתof their beautiful !משפחה
